Subject: Open Recruitment for Candidates for the Position of Department Chair (Director) of the Department of Statistics

Description:

1. The term of the current Department Chair (Director) of the Department of Statistics will expire on July 31, 2025. According to the resolution made during the first committee meeting on February 27, 2025, open recruitment for the position of Department Chair (Director) is now underway.
2. Candidates must meet the following qualifications:
   (1) Must hold the rank of associate professor or higher.
   (2) If the candidate is not a full-time faculty member of the department, prior approval from the department’s faculty evaluation committee is required.
3. Interested candidates should submit relevant materials (such as academic background, list of publications, a copy of their teaching certificate, etc.) by registered mail to the Department Chair (Director) Election Committee of the Department of Statistics, National Cheng Kung University, before April 7, 2025 (Monday).
