This is to announce the call for applications for the 2026 Undergraduate Student Research Project sponsored by the National Science and Technology Council (NSTC).

Applicants intending to apply for the 2026 NSTC Undergraduate Student Research Project are required, after submitting the project proposal, to first notify Ms. You-Ying Lin at the department office to confirm the application. The supervising faculty member is then required to upload the “Supervising Professor’s Preliminary Evaluation Form.”
All application procedures must be fully completed by 09:00 AM on Tuesday, February 24, 2026.
Class representatives of sophomore, junior, and senior undergraduate classes are kindly requested to assist in disseminating this information to their classmates.
Applicants for the Undergraduate Student Research Project are required to have completed at least six (6) hours of academic ethics education and training, and must submit relevant certification documents to the applying institution for record and verification.
The review process conducted by the Office of Academic Integrity Promotion of the University requires seven (7) working days. Applicants are therefore strongly advised to complete the required procedures as early as possible.
